General Information
Summary cyclolinopeptide A and B exhibited apoptosis induction on SGC-7901 cells.
Condition After treatment with various concentrations of 2 orbitides (80, 120,200μM) or 0.6% ethanol (control group) for 36 h, SGC-7901 cells weretrypsinized, washed in cold PBS and then resuspended in 500μLofbinding buffer containing 5μL of Annexin V-FITC and 5μL of propi-dium iodide. After incubation for 15 min at room temperature in thedark, cells were analyzed byflow cytometry (FACS Calibur; BectonDickinson Biosciences, San Jose, CA, USA)
Result Apoptotic cells in the control group incubated with 0.6% ethanol was 6.05 ± 0.37%, which significantly increased to 8.82 ± 0.57% and 10.53 ± 0.22% after treated with 80μMcyclolinopeptide A and B for 36 h, respectively (P < 0.05). Meanwhile, apoptotic proportion of cells increased to 25.08 ± 1.28% and 18.34 ± 1.47% after treated with 120μM cyclolinopeptide A and B for 36 h, respectively. The result was consistentwith that evaluated by cell viability.
